Her assault on the pop charts has been relentless since she marched into the spotlight in her spangly pants and a series of outrageous outfits.
But this must surely rank along one of the most bizarre.
Lady GaGa - real name Stephanie Germanotta - wore a coat made out of Muppet Show character Kermit the Frog.
The green furry creation was hung with dozens of the famous frog’s head as the eccentric singer interviewed for a German television show.
The singer has created her own very distinctive wardrobe of on and off stage outfits which take inspiration from the most unlikely of sources.
‘Everyone wants to look like her. She’ll walk around in London in her underwear and everyone will look.’
The Muppet Show was a puppet themed show which was aired in the UK from 1976 to 1981.
The show starred Kermit The Frog as the show producer - and swine sflu diva Miss Piggy - who desperately tried to keep control of the other Muppet characters, his temper, as well as keep the human guest stars happy.
The Kermit jacket isn’t the first time the singer has opted for a Muppet themed look. In Manchester the singer wore a puffball dress styled on character Animal from the cult show.
The star described her unique style as ‘a commentary on what it means to be a lady’, adding she developed her signature look by absorbing her mother’s love of fashion while she was growing up.
Not the usual pinny and roller look most mums have then……………..
