Richie Rich, the NYC club kid-turned-fashion designer, loves his glitz and it shows with his collection.

The hard-partying designer released his “trash and flash,” range with appearances from America’s Next Top Model and runway divas like Paris Hilton and Jenna Jameson to bring attention to his sparkly, designs. Unfortunately, not even Paris Hilton could save the line from losing financial backing, and the label shut down last year.

Despite the recession, it seems the fashion world still has a place for glitter and false eyelashes. Richie Rich is back, full throttle. He even got the Ex baywatch Pamela Anderson to close his fashion show in her body glitter and a gold swimsuit instead of the usual red one, we are used to seeing.

Joining Pam on the runway were Tinsley Mortimer, CariDee English, and ex-Danity Kane singer Aubrey O’Day.

Who said blondes aren’t more fun needs to ask Richie, he seems to like them best .lol

Jourdan Dunn Face of Calvin Klein

Don’t you love this time of the year! It’s when campaigns for the new season in fashion start to appear.

Often the campaigns are the making of a new face and model, especially if the advert is for Calvin Klein.

Remember Christy Turlington and Kate Moss and their first Calvin Klein days? It’s quite something for a young girl to pop into Primark and end up fronting the new autumn/winter Calvin Klein campaign, as the young British model Jourdan Dunn has discovered.

She went from the shopping in Primark minding her own business, to the billboards of Topshop, to being the first coloured model in 10 years to open a Prada catwalk show! not to mention giving a really good acceptance speech at the British Fashion Awards where she walked away with the title of Model of the year.  Well Dunn Jourdan!  Brains and beauty always gets noticed.

I can imagine all the girls now flocking to Primark in hope, all dolled up to the nines.

It gives new meaning to finding that new look in the city..

Madonna in Givenchy Haute Couture

Paris at the best times could best be described as a bespoke chocolate box full of the most incredible tasting perfectly looking luxe chocolates known to mankind.
But during Couture…well…it just leaves chocolate in the dirt and turns into the most sublime rock-filled jewellery box. Credit crunch or not. Trust Madonna to unofficially kick-start the Couture season this week, by prancing and dancing on the O2 Arena stage on Saturday for the start of her Sticky and Sweet Tour, in a Givenchy Couture number designed by Riccardo Tisci.
This is the same Madonna, who in spite of her iconic status, was once booed by an entire Jean
Paul Gaultier Couture audience for keeping everyone waiting for an hour to then make her entrance. That of course went down like a polyester dress on the front of Vogue . Very Prickly indeed.
Her vampy number was hand stiched by a team of ‘ les mains’ as the highly skilled Couture seamstresses like to be known as, and must have taken at least a couple of hundred hours to complete!
It is crafted in a double silk satin and the tulle jacket, embroidered with jet stones, fringe, guipure lace with cellophane discs. Ingenious really! In the chocolate box scheme of things this is an 80% dark chocolate diamond encrusted expensive truffle.
