An Ice Experience
The Absolute Ice Bar is located in Heddon Street Just of Regent Street in London. It is the first UK permanent Ice bar and is kept at a temperature of –5 all year round.
We visited the Ice Bar early September to enter a room made of ice and sculpted as the London theme, every thing apart from the floor and ceiling was ice, they had carved London underground maps as features and a full size telephone box. Even the glasses are made of ice.

Every 6 months the bar and theme is melted down and completely redesigned. Entrance to the Absolut Ice Bar is £12.00GBP some weekdays and £15.00 GBP on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. Entrance include
Hire of a Designer thermal cape to keep you warm on entry
Personal ice glass, which you must keep hold of, if broken or lost a new one will cost you an extra £4.00 (not including refill)
Choice of Vodka cocktail in your ice glass (first drink free)(or non-alcoholic drink)
Vodka cocktail refill £6.00 GBP, Non-alcoholic refill £3.00 GBP
Reservations is not mandatory but is very highly advised as it is very popular, especially as you can keep revisiting due to the every changing theme so not just a once in a life time experience.

You can also have a drink in the warm bar upstairs or combine your ice experience with a meal afterwards in their restaurant downstairs called below zero. While the ice bar is being revamped they do hold entertainment evenings during this time.
If there is one thing you should do, it is visit this place, especially if you can not afford to fly to the Ice Hotel for the full experience.
