Cheryl Cole is reported to have left the American version of X Factor and may be replaced by the lovely Nicole Sherzinger as a judge on the US version X Factor.
US gossip website TMZ claimed that the main reason for Chezza losing the coveted job was that producers feared viewers would not be able to understand her Geordie accent.
The site also claims that former Pussycat Doll Nicole could be the hot favourite to take over Cheryls seat alongside Simon Cowell on the show’s panel.
The website also stated there were concerns that Girls Aloud star Cheryl showed a lack of chemistry with fellow X Factor judge Paula Abdul.
The Sun newspaper reported that Cheryl Cole was quitting the American version of programme because she was missing her friends and family here back in Britain.
A source on the X Factor show told the newspaper: “It hasn’t worked out. She’s homesick and wants to return to the UK. She’s had enough. Whether she ends up back on UK X Factor is still open to speculation.”
It seems that Cheryl is on a plane somewhere singing to Simon Nicoles famous hit song lyrics .. “If you think i’m coming back, Don’t hold your breath”..
